Victorian drivers lodged 1,809 claims for road damage over two financial years. Twenty-three were paid. Most of the rest failed on a technicality: nobody could prove the road authority already knew about the hole.
So we made that proof public. Your photo, your location, today's date — kept permanently, free for anyone to cite. It's the record that has to exist before someone's wheel is wrecked, and only the people who drive these roads can create it.

Why a public register, when apps already exist?
Because the other apps hand your report to the council and the record vanishes into their system, retrievable only by Freedom of Information. When a claim is refused because the authority "wasn't negligent" — it inspected on schedule, it didn't know — the only records that could test that are the ones the public never sees.
A photo with a date, published openly, changes that. It can't be created after the crash; it has to already be there. One person can't do that for a whole state. Thousands of people with phones can, in thirty seconds each.
